Sacred Public Art

The following are taken from an Instagram post I made which revolved around the important role of architecture and creative productions in transforming and  shaping the consciousness of a society.

One of the great values of architectural beauty can be seen in terms of the economic benefits as well as artistic as many sites all over Europe continue to draw large amounts of tourism despite being thousands of years old.

This split between the arts and daily life, as well as the creative fields from scientific fields seems to have resulted due to the increasing reliance upon rationality as the primary means of furthering survival. Although no one can debate the many upsides of the modern age, this move forward seems to have been accompanied by a decrease in a sense of meaning in the lives of many individuals.
